Adfoot Terms of Service
The French version at adfoot.org/legal/terms.html is the reference text. This English translation is provided for understanding; where the two differ, the French version applies.
1. About Adfoot and acceptance
Adfoot is a digital service dedicated to football. It helps players present their background and performances, and lets clubs, recruiters, agents and supporters use features suited to their role: profiles, videos, talent search, offers, events, applications, contact requests and messaging.
The service consists of the Adfoot mobile application, the adfoot.org website and their associated features. The publisher is SIRA DIGITAL INNOVATION STUDIO SARL, abbreviated SIRA SARL, registered in Mali under number 425900104010012M0004L. Registered office: Bamako (Republic of Mali), Quartier Sébénikoro, near the ORYX station. Telephone: 70.45.33.45. SIRA builds and operates digital solutions, particularly in sport and football. Publisher contact: contact@adfoot.org.
By activating an account and ticking the acceptance box in the application, the user confirms that they were able to read these terms and that they accept them. The acceptance is recorded together with the version and the date. A user who does not accept them must not activate or use their account.
2. Account creation and security
Accounts are created by an Adfoot administrator. The account holder receives an invitation link to activate their access by setting a password, then accepts these terms in the application. Creation by an administrator does not relieve the holder of that acceptance. Adfoot keeps, in its internal tools, the identity of the administrator account that created the account and the creation date, for traceability and security.
Information provided must be accurate and kept up to date. An account is personal, except for an organisation account managed by an authorised person. The holder protects their credentials, does not share them, and promptly reports any suspicious use to support@adfoot.org. They are answerable for actions taken from their account, except for fraudulent use beyond their control that is reported without delay.
3. Underage players and protection
Adfoot admits players from the age of 12. Every player under 18 must have a consent from a parent or legal guardian recorded by the administration. That consent may be confirmed orally or in writing; the team can explain the process in a language the parent understands. The parent does not need to create an account or sign anything in the application.
The underage player accepts these terms in the application themselves, like any other account holder. That general acceptance does not replace the parental consent recorded by the administration. Until the parental consent is recorded and approved, the minor's record is not shown to recruiters and media are not published.
Once the consent is recorded, a reduced search record for the minor is accessible only to verified recruiters or clubs. It contains only the limited football information needed for search (for example position, nationality, year of birth or club level, where those are filled in); it gives no access to the full profile, the CV or private contact details. Contact requests go through the Adfoot administration, which may review them before passing them on. Recruiters must not bypass that mediation, nor contact the minor directly through another channel using information obtained on the service.
The media permission is separate from the consent to create the record, and videos are moderated before publication. A parent or guardian may contact support@adfoot.org to request the activation, deactivation or withdrawal of the parental consent and the media permission. The profiles and media concerned may be hidden while the request is processed.
Where an age is missing, inconsistent or disputed, Adfoot may provisionally apply the protections intended for minors until it is verified. Anyone may report an age error or a risk concerning a minor to support@adfoot.org.
4. Rules by role
- Player: provide a truthful profile, publish only media they are allowed to use, and not present themselves under another player's identity.
- Club: represent a real organisation, be authorised to publish on its behalf, and describe its offers and events honestly, including the age categories concerned.
- Recruiter: declare an accurate affiliation, use profiles for legitimate football recruitment, and respect the access and contact restrictions.
- Agent: declare their status and authorisations accurately, and comply with the professional rules applicable to their activity.
- Supporter: view content within the limits of their access and respect the rights of its authors.
Adfoot may ask for reasonable evidence of professional identity, affiliation or authorisation. An Adfoot badge or check indicates only the state of the verification carried out by the service; it does not guarantee a sporting result, a contract, or the absence of all risk.
5. Content, rights and promotional media
The account holder keeps their rights in the texts, photos, videos and other content they provide. They authorise Adfoot, for as long as the content is made available on the service, to host it, convert it to the necessary format, display it and transmit it to authorised persons, solely in order to provide, secure and promote the features the content is intended for. This authorisation is non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership of the content. It ends when the content is withdrawn, subject to temporary technical copies and applicable retention obligations.
The account holder warrants that they hold the rights and permissions needed to transmit the content, including the permission of recognisable people appearing in it and, where applicable, of clubs, competitions or trade mark owners. They must not publish confidential documents, a third party's personal data, or unlawful content.
Player images intended for Adfoot advertising campaigns, for promoting the application or for app store screenshots require a specific permission, separate from ordinary use of the service. For an underage player, that permission must be given by their parent or guardian and recorded separately. Refusing this promotional use does not block the account or access to ordinary features.
6. Moderation and content safety
Videos may be reviewed before publication. Adfoot may refuse, limit, hide or remove content that breaches these terms, harms a person, presents a security risk, or does not match the football purpose of the service. A human or technical check does not guarantee that all content or information is accurate or complete.
Users may report content, an account or a behaviour to support@adfoot.org. Adfoot reviews reports and may take proportionate measures, including removing the content, restricting access or suspending an account. A decision may be challenged with support.
7. Offers, events and relationships between users
Adfoot provides tools for presentation and introduction. Adfoot promises no scouting, no trial, no selection, no contract and no transfer. Unless a separate service is expressly mentioned, Adfoot is not a party to the exchanges, trials or contracts concluded between players, clubs, recruiters and agents, and does not replace the checks those people must carry out.
Adfoot is not a licensed football agent and is no substitute for one. It signs no representation mandate and does not negotiate an employment contract or a transfer on its own. Where an opportunity leads to contract discussions, Adfoot works with a FIFA-licensed agent partnered with the agency, who acts on their own terms and remains responsible for their licence, their mandate and their professional obligations. An agent using the platform on their own account is likewise responsible for theirs. Each party remains responsible for their own decisions and checks, and the player is free to choose who they engage with.
Adfoot may receive a share of a contract concluded through its introduction. That share, what it is calculated on and how long it runs are never implied: they are set out in a separate written agreement, presented to the player and, for a minor, to their parent or guardian, and accepted before any commitment. No share is owed under these terms, nor by the registration payment alone. A player may refuse that agreement without their account being closed or their visibility reduced. Where the applicable rules prohibit remuneration connected to an underage player, no share is taken.
7.1 Registration, price and payment
Registering with Adfoot is chargeable. It costs 15,000 FCFA for a player, paid once, and 25,000 FCFA per year for a club, a recruiter or an agent, as a subscription renewed annually. These are the amounts in force at the date of this version; any change is announced before it applies and does not affect a period already paid for.
For a player, registration covers their account, their profile, publishing their videos, their visibility to verified clubs and recruiters, and a basic level of support. Once registration is paid, using the application and publishing videos cost nothing further. The more advanced services provided by the professionals Adfoot works with, in particular coaching, physical preparation, data analysis and career guidance, are the subject of a separate offer whose terms and price are presented before any subscription.
Some players are supported by the agency at its own cost and pay nothing, neither registration nor support. That decision rests with the agency; it is not a right granted by these terms and it is not a promise of any result.
Payment is made in cash only, at the Adfoot agency in Bamako. Adfoot never asks anyone to send money by mobile money or bank transfer, or to hand it over anywhere other than at its agency. The mobile application displays no price and offers no way to pay. Any request for payment made in Adfoot's name through any other channel should be refused and reported to support@adfoot.org.
Adfoot asks for no payment in return for a selection, a trial, a contract or a transfer, and promises none of those outcomes. Paying the registration gives access to the service described above, and to nothing more.
8. Prohibited conduct
- impersonating an identity, affiliation, licence or mandate;
- falsifying an age or circumventing the protections for minors;
- contacting or soliciting a minor by bypassing the mediation provided for;
- publishing other people's images, data or documents without permission;
- harassing, threatening, discriminating against, exploiting or defrauding a user;
- publishing sexual, violent, hateful or misleading content, or content with no legitimate connection to the service;
- mass-extracting profiles, circumventing access controls or disrupting the service;
- using contact details obtained on Adfoot for unsolicited canvassing.
9. Availability, suspension and deletion
Adfoot works to keep the service available and secure, but maintenance, network incidents, provider outages or changes may temporarily limit some features. Adfoot may change or discontinue a feature for reasons of security, operations or service evolution.
In the event of a breach, a risk to a user, a legal request or misleading professional information, Adfoot may limit or suspend the account, remove content or ask for verification. Where reasonably possible, the user receives an explanation and may contact support to request a review.
A user may request deletion of their account from the application settings or by following the procedure described on the account deletion page. Some data may be kept temporarily for security, to handle a dispute or to meet a legal obligation; the durations are set out in the privacy policy.
10. Responsibility
Each user is responsible for the information, content and decisions they publish or take. Adfoot takes reasonable measures to operate the service and handle reports, but does not guarantee the identity or behaviour of every user, nor the accuracy of all information provided by members.
Nothing in these terms removes a liability or a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in the user's country. Users must exercise their judgement, verify offers, and never send money or a sensitive document to a person whose identity and authorisation have not been confirmed.
11. Adfoot intellectual property
The software, trade marks, graphic elements and content produced by Adfoot are protected. The user receives a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Any copying, resale, extraction or commercial reuse without permission is prohibited.
12. Personal data and common rules
Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of the information provided when using the service. These terms are a common baseline for users in every country where Adfoot is offered. They do not replace or reduce the mandatory protections a person is entitled to under the rules applicable to their situation.
13. Changes and applicable law
Adfoot may update these terms to reflect a change in the service, its security or its obligations. For a significant change, the new version and its date are presented in the application before a new acceptance is requested. The user may refuse and request deletion of their account.
These terms are designed as a single common text, with no separate version per country. The French version is the reference version; the English translation is provided for understanding. The mandatory rules applicable in the user's country prevail where they grant greater protection or require a different rule. Any invalid clause is limited to the extent necessary without rendering the other clauses inapplicable. The user keeps the remedies and the competent court the law affords them.
14. Contact
Two addresses, depending on the subject of the request:
- support@adfoot.org: account and access, reporting content, an account or a behaviour, security, parental consent and media permission for an underage player.
- contact@adfoot.org: contact for the publisher SIRA SARL, and requests concerning personal data (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection), described in the privacy policy.
