Deleting an Adfoot account

Deleting from the application
- Open Adfoot and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then Settings.
- Choose "Delete my account".
- Confirm the deletion.
Deletion removes the account and its associated data: profile, published content, applications, contact requests, messages and follows.
Request through support
If you can no longer access the application, send a request to support@adfoot.org. For a formal request to erase your personal data, you can write to contact@adfoot.org. Both addresses are monitored by Adfoot; there is no need to write to both.
Information to provide
- The email address of the Adfoot account concerned.
- Subject: "Account deletion".
- An explicit confirmation of the request.
Underage players
A parent or legal guardian can request the deletion of an underage player's account, or only the withdrawal of the parental consent and the media permission, by writing to support@adfoot.org. The parent does not need an Adfoot account. The profile and media concerned may be hidden as soon as the request is received.
Processing time
Requests are handled as soon as possible after the requester's identity is verified. Verification is necessary so that a third party cannot have an account deleted that is not theirs.
What may be retained
Some items may be kept after deletion where a legal obligation, a dispute, fraud prevention or the protection of users requires it. The exact durations are set out in the privacy policy, section "How long do we keep the data?". Backup copies expire on their own technical cycle.
